Product Description
The
Canterbury Voice Release (CVR)
wired system is a professional-grade, voice-activated clay target release system designed for Trap, Down-the-Line (DTL), and Skeet shooting. It is widely considered one of the most reliable systems in the industry, specifically engineered to provide consistent pull timing and eliminate the variability of human pullers.
System Features and Components
A standard wired Trap/DTL package typically includes:
- Microphones: Five individual units, one for each shooting stand, designed with special circuitry to filter out background noise and gunfire while prioritising human voice commands like "Pull".
- Control Box: Central unit that manages timing, including a 2-second "time-out" to allow the trap to reset and the next shooter to prepare.
- Cabling: Durable, weather-proof wired connections. Note that for Australian conditions, specific UV-stable sheathing is often used.
- Power: Operates on 12V DC, typically including a transformer to step down from standard 110V or 240V mains power
